Since Earth encompasses all things it also includes life, death and the continuation of human nature.
Our Earth is made up of 8.7 million different forms of life/species. This is only an estimation since we have only discovered about 2 million.
It could take years to log each one. It is important to do, so we can easily protect each species once they are discovered.
Earth Nymphs
The Earth Nymphs have many names for all types of land across the earth. For example there is the Auloniades to watch over the vallies and Leimakides to protect the meadows.
Gnomes are small mythical creatures who live under the earth. They help to maintain the stably of the Earth because of the vast knowledge and power they have of it.
They protect the earth and "Mother nature" from any harm because they have a huge love for her and her earth.
Paracelsus who was first to write about all of the elements also came up with the idea of Gnomes and their importance to the earth.
Their protective nature, these days has come to symbolize good luck to the land which they live in/ placed upon. This is main reason why Gnomes can be found in gardens, farms and barns. They will bring good fortune to the crops and the livestock.
They also have a trickster qualities where they like to move things around the garden at night to confuse the owner the next morning.

If one ecosystem is affected it is more than likely all will be affected. This puts many species in danger as they will struggle to live in the new environment.
2. Forest resources
Forests help us to survive on a daily basis. There is a whole range of things we use trees for. Without maintaining our forests availability we wont be able to gather these resources anymore.
3. Keep it safe for future generations.
Protecting it now will keep it safe for generations of people to come after you. They can follow your example and continue the legacy.
